If anyone still cares, or watches this show, you would be interested to know that for the next season, Tyra Banks has recruited best friend/Baby Phat designer, Kimora Lee Simmons and Vogue’s Andre Leon Talley to judge the contest with her. Maybe even full time.
Andre Leon Talley is the Editor-At-Large for American Vogue. He has been in fashion for more than 25 years, and often uses his powers to promote and influence dozens of young designers.
Will this help Tyra pull in new viewers? Or is the show so dead she couldn’t get anyone else to join her?
Last season was the season of “short” models (or models under 5”7), which will probably never break into the mainstream modeling industry, as most of Tyra’s choices have pretty much failed to “be on top.”
However, Andre Leon Talley is great on camera and manages to create some great television moments, so maybe the show will be worth tuning into next season… for the last 20 minutes at least.
