One of the world’s earliest ballet institutions, the New York City Ballet now calls both the Koch Theater, and Saratoga Springs it’s home. When they aren’t practicing for one of the annual world tours, you can find the N.Y.C.B right here at New York’s newest performing arts center, showcasing a plenitude of popular ballet acts, including: The Nutcracker, Swan Lake and The Magic Flute. When the N.Y.C.B aren’t in residence, the 2,500 seater David H. Koch Theater plays host to other world-touring ballet troupes, as well as the New York City Opera and Philharmonic Orchestra. If you are planning upon securing a seat for a N.Y.C.B show, we recommend you book well in advance, and on-line as there are plenty of discounts to be had!
