Nestled snugly between Greenwich and Washington Streets in the West Village, the Orient Express lies waiting to be discovered. Built within the shell of a former laundromat, the Orient is the newest themed transport bar in town and is showing signs of becoming a serious contender with other cocktail-specialist establishments. Everything within the Orient has been designed with the original locomotive as inspiration. Tables are uniformly laid out along a narrow corridor-like room with smoked glass windows, and gilded brass fittings. Oak style paneling compliments the sumptuous mahoganies of tables, whose shine mirrors light indescribably.
