The former site of celeb-magnet Buddha Bar; Anja had some big shoes to fill when it was first launched, yet has continued the vibrant lounge and party atmosphere with a spectacular interior overhaul, complete with tunnel entrance and decadent dining area. Anja doesn’t conform to any of the qualities of a formal dining atmosphere, instead focusing upon spilling the celebration over into food fusion. Here, French gastronomy meets Asian accents to produce sensuous, yet lively dishes, in keeping with the vibe of the bar. For a truly unique ‘pounce-on-the-palate’ experience, try the Miso Glazed Scottish Salmon, served with Shitake mushrooms and Shanghai Bok Choy, or Spicy Maya Shrimp with Smoked Turkish Pepper Sauce.
