 The police have arrested a 17-year-old for the fatal stabbing that occurred in Chintatown two weeks ago.
The 17-year-old suspect, Victor Fong, was charged with second-degree murder after showing up at the Fifth Precinct station on Monday to surrender, with his lawyer.
The victim of the stabbing was 18-year-old Nelson Rafael Pena, who was coming home from work at the Local Foot Locker on November 18, when he was attacked by Fong, and brutally stabbed in the leg and chest. Pena’s friend, who was with them at the time, was also reportedly stabbed in the neck, but survived.

In a high profile lawsuit, New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo is going after the United Homeless Organization, which New Yorkers know from the countless tables around the city of workers asking for donations to help the homeless.  A Queens man was charged with murdering his wife and son on Saturday, after their bodies were found in a closet wrapped in black plastic with their throats cut, according to authorities. The woman was 54 years old, and the son was just 14.
The man’s name is Otto Herrarte, and he is 48 years old. He was charged with two counts of second-degree murder when, during questioning, he indicated that he had killed his wide and son before hiding the bodies.
