Target To Debut Rodarte Collection

Whenever big-time designers collaborate with stores like Target, it is always a huge deal. Women can finally get designer clothes for much cheaper, and Target’s new Rodarte line finally debuts tomorrow.

The line will include 55 different pieces, that range in prices (going from $9.99 to $79.99), will be in stores until January 31.

The line includes animal print dresses, that are oh-so-hot this season, lacy dresses, soft cardigans, denim jackets and accessories such as sunglasses. Check out a full slide show preview of the line here.

Balenciaga Sues Steve Madden

High-end fashion line Balenciaga is suing Steve Madden for allegedly stealing their label’s multicolored Lego heels from the 2007 collection.

In the lawsuit, Balenciaga’s complaint states that the Steve Madden company “intentionally copied” the fall 2007 design, which first became popular when Beyonce wore them to the American Music Awards in November 2007.

The original designer pair of shoes cost $4,175, while the Steve Madden version costs $99.95, which is approximately only 2 percent of the original price.

Rumors have been swirling that V magazine has devoted its entire January issue to plus-size models.

There will be a variety of models, both clothed and naked, shot by photographers such as Terry Richardson, Bruce Weber, Karl Lagerfeld, among others.

High-end clothing store Barneys recently unloaded some of their financial woes and is considering opening up a store in Brooklyn.

Like every other store, Barneys has had to endure a ton of financial difficulties in the last year and lost a lot of money. They weren’t paying all of their pills on time, forcing their parent company, Istithmar, to pump $25 million into the chain, despite their own financial problems.
