Webster Hall

Webster Hall

Considered New York’s premier entertainment center, Webster Hall is a 19th Century building and America’s first established nightclub. Despite the architectural heritage, and an interior harking back to the glorious elegance of the early 20th Century – Webster Hall only gained official recognition as New York landmark in 2008. The center comprises a nightclub, music venue, recording space and events suite, in addition to the huge balconied ballroom for which it is so renowned. With a total capacity of 2,500, Webster Hall holds enough entertainment areas to cater for multifarious tastes. The contemporary “Balcony Lounge” is a great place to relax …continue reading

Aside from the uber modern decor, the Pacha brand is also renowned for the high-class dance acts who regularly head the bill at weekends in Europe. Since it’s opening two years ago, Pacha N.Y.C has also had it’s own fair share of first class DJ’s including Cosmic Gate, and resident Erick Morillo. …continue reading

Le Poisson Rouge

Le Poisson Rouge

Adopting the site of 70′s haunt The Village Gate, Le Poisson Rouge has been designed by musicians, for musicians and professes to be focused upon “serving art and alcohol” in equal measure. First impressions might convey L.P.R to be another indie-specific band venue, however the real allure of this 700-person music hall is the sheer diversity of headlining acts. Past acts have included Debbie Harry, Florence and The …continue reading

The Studio At Webster Hall

The Studio At Webster Hall

Set within the basement of trademark club-venue Webster Hall, the subterranean rock “studio” is one of New York’s more hidden treasures. With a 300-person capacity, The Studio is somewhat intimate, and the main showroom bears the trademark dank dimness of such bijou indie play-houses, however this is the place to catch cutting-edge artists from Florence and The Machine, to Imogen Heap, Keane and Vampire Weekend. MTV Live regularly film within both the in-house studio, and up on the main stage, so you may well find yourself up close and personal with a video lens or two. Open til 2am, you can …continue reading
