Capping off a dreadful second half of the NFL season, the Giants fell to the playoff bound Minnesota Vikings in a 44-7 blowout to cap off one of the most disappointing Big Blue seasons.
The Giants entered the year as one of the favorites to go all the way and only increased expectations as they began the season 5-0 only to go a mere 3-8 for the rest of the season.

Anyone who claimed that Jets would be in the playoffs this year would have been laughed at two months ago but Gang Green is going to the playoffs after sealing a 5-3 second half (5-1 in their last six games) by beating the AFC North champions Cincinnati Bengals.
In a game that exemplified the Jets’ run heavy offense and extraordinary defense, the Jets were rolling on all cylinders in what is likely the last game to ever be played at Giants stadium as they put down the 10-6 Bengals in a 37-0 blowout victory to make the playoffs …continue reading
It has been so long since Nate Robinson saw any game action that he didn’t even budge when his name was called to come off the bench. Robinson had been riding the bench for a month, ever since the moment he came off the Knicks bench and scored a basket in his own hoop, but not two hours later the backup guard had scored 41 points and led the Knicks to a hardly fought overtime victory against the Atlanta Hawks.
Of the Knicks’ 13 points in overtime, 11 were scored by Robinson.
