Some Sheepshead Bay Residents Fear New Mosque

All around the world, new mosques are going up and bringing constant terror, hatred, and angry Muslim fundamentalists to otherwise peaceful and loving neighborhoods. That is what one might imagine is the case from the way that a few Sheepshead Bay residents have responded to plans of a new mosque going up in the area.

Newark Airport To Get Full Body X-Ray Screeners

While full body X-Ray scanning machines have been popping up around the country, New Jersey’s Newark airport will be the first airport in the Northeast to install these controversial machines at their security checkpoints on the heels of the botched Christmas terrorist attack.

Costing at $170,000 each, officials hope that these machines will prevent exactly the type of attack as was nearly carried out by the “Underwear Bomber.”

The machines will be set up in Newark’s terminal B, home of all of the airport’s international flights as well as domestic flights by companies like Delta and Northwest.

September 11 Suspect to Have Trial in NY

The self-described mastermind behind the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, will be tried in federal court in New York City, along with four others who are also accused of helping plot the devastating attack.

This is all a big part of finally shutting down Guantanamo Bay. The detainees are not being moved right away, because of a law congress enacted earlier this year that says lawmakers must be given 45 days notice before the executive branch decides to move and Guantanamo Bay prisoners onto United States soil.
